We are committed to creating pieces that you will treasure a lifetime.
If your gold plating fades or something breaks in your piece of jewellery within six months of purchased from us we will restore it for you free of charge. After this time we will do a service charge so you can continue to enjoy your treasured heirlooms.

How to care for your Jewellery?

Store your unworn jewellery flat in your eco jewellery box provided at purchase or in your jewellery box to prevent any scratches and always remove your jewels when doing practical activities to ensure it doesn't get damaged or gemstones don't get scratched.
We recommend to take your jewellery off when washing your hands, showering, doing sports and sleeping.
Avoid to expose your jewellery to any household chemicals, hand sanitiser, perfume, hairspray or moisturiser products, these product can cause precious metals, gold plating and gemstones to tarnish and discolour. This is specially true for porous gemstones and beads ; Lapis Lazuli, Coral, Pearl, Opal, Emerald, Onyx, Agate and Dolomite. These gemstones and beads are all classed as soft porous, which means they are softer and more vulnerable to water, beauty products and perfume and need special care to maintain their beauty as these products can corrode the surface and damage the gemstones permanently.
At Bea Jareno Jewellery we offer a full cleaning, polishing and re-sizing services so please contact us for more details.

Do we have a cleaning service?

Yes! we offer a cleaning service to restore and give new life to your precious jewels. The cost is £30 and this includes postage back to you.
If possible is advisable to opt for a professional cleaning service, however, if you wish to clean your jewels at home let us give you some useful guidelines.
Sterling silver keeps its shine with use, your skin naturally keeps it looking beautiful, if unworn over time it can tarnish. If this is the case carefully use a toothbrush and warm soapy water to remove any dirt, ensure you dry your jewel thoroughly.
You can also use a good quality silver or gold cloth after cleaning your jewellery with soapy water, gemstones and beads may also be cleaned in the same process.
If in any doubt please do contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions

How about Surface Finishes?

Yes! we can also restore any finished in the surface of your jewels.
We do various finishes in our pieces from polished, matt/satin and oxidised.
Matt surfaces can start to polish up with time and when worn, to restore it very gently rub the piece with a green scouring pad in a soft circular motion with warm soapy water. Make sure your jewels are well dry afterwards.
The oxidised sterling silver is a surface treatment and will wear off with time and use exposing some of the sterling silver underneath in an organic way. We think this is beautiful as the piece will be very special to you. If you prefer the original oxidisation we can re-oxidised your jewel for you.
You can use your sterling silver or gold cloth to restore the shine in your polished jewels, this is also true for your gold plated jewellery.
